The second meeting of the IQAC was held on Wednesday 31 July. The main decision was to organize a workshop on E- Learning for the faculty on Saturday 2 August. This would be part of the Professional Development Initiative of the IQAC. The minutes of the meeting will be put up shortly on the MEETINGS page.

The next action point for the IQAC is for the Special Interest Group (SIG) for each criterion to meet and plan the implementation of the requirements of that criterion. These meetings, which should evolve into Quality Circles, should start to happen in the coming week.
Semester III and Semester IV students of the FDP have a course requirement of participation in Clubs for Extension Activities. The IQAC has framed a policy document presenting the guidelines for the process of implementing this requirement. This document has been approved by the Co-ordinator for the Clubs and uploaded on the POLICIES page. Members of the IQAC met at 3 pm today in the Conference Hall to discuss the Manual for Autonomous Colleges 2014 published by the NAAC, The members would study the document in detail and formulate plans on how to translate the objectives of the IQAC into action points. They would be informed about the next course of action by the Co-ordinator.

The IQAC was re-constituted for the academic years 2014-15 and the basic purpose of this meeting was to familiarize the new members with the functioning of the IQAC. |
